I’ve made a few changes to Keeper Bookshelf in the past few months. Life is ever-changing, and I’m finding that I must change along with it. This place has always been my refuge, my place to share my passion for reading a really good book — and that certainly is not going to change! Yet my focus on more Historical Romance or Paranormal Romance or even Thriller & Suspense may surprise a few of the folks who wander over here now and then.
Honestly, Contemporary Romance and Harlequin-styled Romances are fully covered on my Happily Ever After Romance blog – and I do hope you’ll check it out, I’m quite proud of it. And, of course, my love of furry, sexy couples in the Shifter Romance genre has always been covered by my Shifter Haven website.
But Keeper Bookshelf seems to be a more fluid, what I’m enjoying at the moment type of romance review blog *shrug*… and I don’t see that changing any time soon. So these are the 2023 Reading Challenges that I’m going to try to keep up with for this particular website. And, quite honestly, it’s not always easy to find challenges for Historical Romance, Paranormal Romance, or even Thriller or Suspense books. So. I’m going to take each challenge that I take on and give it a twist to use only books with my preferred genres as what I’m reading for them. I never remember to go and list my read books nor do I try for the prizes… this is all just for the fun and enjoyment of books in a slightly different way. 🙂 I’m hoping no one minds that I’ve given these Reading Challenges my own unique twists.
These are the 2023 Reading Challenges that I have Keeper Bookshelf taking part in this time around.
Never Enough Novels 2023 Reading Challenge ~ this one has some interesting monthly prompts which I’ll tweak to meet my own genre to read this time around.
The Intrepid Reader’s 2023 Historical Fiction 2023 Reading Challenge ~ again, new to me, and I’ll add my own tweaks.
The Purrfect Reading Challenge ~ is “purrfect” for me as it combines cozies & cats as the main character!
COYER ~ is a must-have + this is the 10th anniversary!
2023 Goodreads Reading Challenge – this is a no-brainer as I always pick this one up! (but that link is usually the last one available)
Beat the Backlist 2023 ~ is always fun with entertaining prompts, and I can tweak it just as easily to any genre.
