City girl Misty Reynolds comes to Wildcat Bluff just in time to help Trey put out a suspicious fire, leading him to dub her his “Christmas angel.” Unfortunately, Misty’s past has left her with terrible memories of fire, and of Christmastime.

As the two are thrown together again and again, Trey finds himself wanting Misty more and more, and Misty feels stronger and braver when Trey is around. Though their trust grows slowly, their passion for each other is burning hot…

Read on for my thoughts on A Cowboy Firefighter for Christmas.  No true spoilers, promise.

Someone is setting fires in the small town of Wildcat Bluff, Texas.  Misty has been sent in to investigate these fires, undercover… told to trust no one and suspect everyone.

Trey’s first encounter with Misty is when he needs her help in putting out a small suspicious fire.  Then they just seem to keep running into each other.  First it’s just about the fires, but soon their own sparks begin to fly with satisfying results.

Neither one has great Christmas memories – in a town that celebrates every single surface and moment of the holiday  season.  So is Misty going to simply slip away or… stick around to keep her hot fireman company.

A Cowboy Firefighter for Christmas is a sweet, charming story that will keep your interest until the final reveal.  Trey and Misty are an unusual couple that works well.  Each has their own reasons for keeping Christmas at bay.  I found them to be fun and definitely sexy.

The suspense is there throughout the story, if you don’t pick out the firebug first.  These are two people who really should be together, they simply have to get  past some issues first.

I enjoyed this Christmas romance and would recommend it for anyone who loves romance, light mystery and a charming small town at Christmas-time.

*I received an e-ARC of A Cowboy Firefighter for Christmas from the publisher and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. That does not change what I think of this novel.*

Yes, this is going to be one of those series that I follow closely. Sometimes the town is as much fun as the main characters. I had a blast reading it.
