A Cowboy’s Song is the third title in the Redemption Ranch series and gives us the romance between Piper and Ty, two wounded souls for very different reasons who find an unexpected future in each other… if they can take a few risks and deal with family, fame, and reality.
Music has always soothed Ty’s soul, gave him an escape from the pain of the past and the strength to look into the future. Piper’s relationship with music is quite different as the daughter of music legends and the sister of yet another, Piper has always been surrounded by the demands of music not the comfort of it. She’s come to the ranch for her friend’s wedding, but to also decompose after an exhausting experience and questions in her mind of continuing or walking away from the music she’s supposed to love. While Ty and Piper might be exactly what the other needs in their life the release of their duet singing a song Ty wrote for the bride and groom will offer a different path – one they both need to decide if it’s the right choice for them or the growing love between them.
I was easily swept up into A Cowboy’s Song with a hero who has been through so much in his life and a woman who had her future set in stone for her by other people’s expectations. I liked them both and enjoyed getting to know them while watching them face challenges that could easily break them apart. We’ll meet up once again with the earlier couples in this series, and that always makes a world more real to me. I had fun back at Redemption Ranch and would definitely recommend this series to any reader who simply loves a good love story.
