BAD INFLUENCE brings us back to Annie and Joe with an emotional, tension-filled second chance romance between two people who never really stopped loving each other, in spite of what appearances showed.
Annie’s Bad Bachelor app has put her in the spotlight in ways she never, ever expected. She’s stayed hidden, behind the scenes as much as possible but a hacker has her identity and isn’t above threats, blackmail and more. Revenge? We’ll discover who and why by the story’s ending… but for now the suspense builds as Annie and Joe work their way back to each other.
Once Joe and Annie had their lives together planned out and were ready for their well deserved happy ever after. Until their lives together fell completely apart. One of the oldest problems between couples since time began… not talking to each other, not explaining what is really happening in their lives outside of being a couple, not understanding because they didn’t have all the needed information. All of that and perhaps more were Annie and Joe’s downfall.
It didn’t take long for Joe to realize his mistake in walking away – or for Annie to create her infamous app. Neither has moved on, they each still love each other but stubborn pride and deep hurt have prevented them from fixing their problems. One hacker will do what they could not… bring them together again.
I had such a good time back in this world again… and I’m sad that this is a farewell moment, but I’ve had a blast with these characters and I do wish them all well. If you love a really good second chance romance then you’ll want to pick up BAD INFLUENCE. I would not hesitate to recommend this story or the entire series to any reader who enjoys a good, believable romance, interesting characters, intriguing plotlines and secondary characters who bring the story to life.
