Return to Evergreen,
the town where Christmas wishes come true…

When Lisa takes a last-minute Christmas trip to her hometown of Evergreen, she finds that the historic general store has been closed. Using her skills as a professional retail designer, Lisa decides to keep local tradition alive and help the good people of Evergreen bring the store back to life.

Lisa charms a local contractor named Kevin into working with her, and the pair find themselves facing one surprise after another as they restore the store to its former glory. When the staff at the Kringle Kitchen temporarily accept the store’s beloved ‘Mailbox to Santa’ for safekeeping, one of the biggest surprises of all is finding the mysterious 25-year-old letter to Santa that never made it to the North Pole. Who really wrote it, and will its request come true at last?

As old traditions are made new again, Lisa finds herself falling for Kevin, the traditions, and the town of Evergreen.  Will Lisa and Kevin figure out what they’re truly wishing for?

Title:  Letters to Santa

Genre:  Christmas Romance, Contemporary Romance

My Rating:  4.5 stars

It’s not easy going home again to find that some of your fondest, most precious memories are changed.  It’s also not easy to stay home when nothing but memories surround you and you cannot fight through the sad ones to remember the happy times.  Exactly what Lisa and Kevin will soon discover.  One who is returning home, another one thinking of leaving home – but both are about to rediscover the magic of Christmas and the joy of rebuilding something precious to an entire town.

Christmas in Evergreen: Letters to Santa takes us back, once again, to a small town where the magic of Christmas doesn’t diminish throughout the year, it thrives.  But nothing ever stays exactly the same, time moves on and two strangers will come together to recreate something of the past – and perhaps begin their path toward their future.  I enjoyed watching Lisa and Kevin move through hesitant friendship to something more.  Their journey is realistic and full of every bit of Christmas magic that I’ve come to expect, not only from Nancy Naigle but from Hallmark Publishing as well.

I loved how the townsfolk came together to solve a mystery that takes on a life of its own.  The epilogue was perfect for this story and gave me an additional smile to close the book on.  If you’ve seen the Hallmark movie then you’ll enjoy that little extra at the end of this book.  Without giving away spoilers, in Christmas in Evergreen: Letters to Santa you’re going to find a romance beginning between a couple who truly need each other, discover a town where the Christmas Spirit is a year-round feeling, and solve a mystery while making wishes come true.  Don’t know how much more full of Christmas one story can get.  I enjoyed every moment spent here, and I believe you will, too.  And – it’s never too early for a Christmas Romance.  Enjoy.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story.  It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*
