How far would you go to be with the one you love at Christmas?
The Isle of Skye is a magical place, especially at Christmas, and there’s no place Zac Fallon would rather be. But whilst Zac has everything he needs on Skye, there’s still something missing – and that something is somebody called Ivy McFarlane.
Ivy used to work with Zac but then spread her wings and moved to Glastonbury. He’s missed her ever since. Now it’s almost Christmas and Zac realizes that the Ivy shaped hole in his life is too big to bear. So starts his festive mission to the mainland – but will he be back in time to spend Christmas in Skye? And, more importantly, will Ivy be with him?

I’m not a world traveler, how I wish that were possible, yet throughout the Tempest Sisters series Kirsty Ferry has been able to transport me to beautiful, magical locations through her word pictures that have me experiencing each place she’s taken me. The Isle of Skye and Glastonbury came alive for me in CHRISTMAS ON THE ISLE OF SKYE in a way that I don’t always experience and that alone makes these stories a gift of love and talented storytelling.
We’ve met Zac before and I had hoped he’d find his own happy ending and he will with Ivy… eventually. Two people who quietly keep their attraction to each other out of their work relationship, their friendship truly could make a perfect for each other couple. But they have to take risks, they have to let the other know exactly how they feel – and that’s not always easy to do. Zac is taking the first step and prays that by his journey’s end he’ll have the woman he loves at his side for a lifetime. It all depends on Ivy feeling the same way he does, and he’s not going to find that out by keeping his silence any longer.
CHRISTMAS ON THE ISLE OF SKYE is a magical experience of taking a chance, putting oneself out there for possible pain and hurt but hoping against all odds that won’t happen. I understood them both, and their reasons but a few misunderstandings may stop their future before it even gets started. The traditions, the beliefs, the beauty of some truly amazing locations often took my breath away during this story. I love when an author can include all possible viewpoints for none of us are exactly the same, we all see our world through individual eyes and it was that aspect of this romance that gave an extra special feel to the entire story. I was captured, transported, and experienced a lovely, magical holiday romance with two people who are so real they could be neighbors of mine. I had such a good time back in this world again, and would not hesitate one second in recommending their story to any reader who loves a good story, detailed word pictures, and characters who come alive on the page. Yeah, I’ll be reading this one again.
