Cassie Crow, a pop-culture reporter for a TV talk show, is focused on becoming a “serious” journalist. But when she stumbles into a kilted Highlander with a killer accent, Cassie decides that taking one night off from work and spending it with a sexy Scot couldn’t hurt. . .

Logan Reid has built a career on his charm, hosting a series of off-the-wall hijinks on the Web. But when the Scottish prankster meets the all-American, equal parts intelligent and irresistible Cassie, Logan realizes that one night of fun won’t be enough. Could it be that this career-focused, commitment-phobic couple is finally ready to take a chance at true and lasting love?

Title:  Getting Hot with the Scot

My Rating:  4 stars

I had such fun with  GETTING HOT WITH THE SCOT that I’m still smiling.  With that title, there is no way I could resist this one.

It’s so easy to put Romance in categories these days, but to put it simply – if you love a story that will have you chuckling and laughing out loud, perhaps shed a few tears or at least get misty-eyed, and love when an author can give you an accent in words that you can actually hear then you’re gonna want to pick up Logan and Cassie’s adventure right now.

They may have started out as a hot fling while away from home, but they soon discovered that the spark burns beyond that time limit.  I don’t want to give away details that you should discover for yourself, so check out the blurb and know that you will be swept away to a fun, sizzling adventure with not only good friends but a couple that fit perfectly together.  I had a blast, and I believe you will as well.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story.  It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*
