I was so touched by Katherine Garbera’s sensitive, yet realistic portrayal of both Lane and Felicity in Her Christmas Cowboy that I would tell you right off the bat that this is a story you should read this Christmas season.  This is a story of survival, a different type of survival beyond war injuries or low self confidence.  Two people who have always had a slight crush since their high school days but nothing ever came of it now have a second chance to see what they might be together.  In fact, they are perfect for each other exactly as they are, but it’s going to be a bit of a journey for them to get to that point.  The journey there is at times sad, at times a bit angry at life and the actions of other people, yet underlying the sadness is a sense of hope.  A belief that finally there is someone who “gets” them, makes them complete in a way that no one else ever has.  There are fears to overcome, and acceptance to give – but watching Lane and Felicity find their way to each other was such a powerful, tender story that this one will stay in my mind for a very long time.

I don’t feel the need to go into details in this review.  I really want you to take a chance on this story and read it for yourself.  It is a beautiful love story, a festive Christmas story… and for two special people, it’s a chance to grab the best of life and go out and live it, enjoy it and take control of it… together.  Tender.  Satisfying.  Emotionally gripping.  Yeah, this is one that you need to experience first hand.
