Willow Arden adores her life as the coronation planner in the Vicenza palace. The tiny island kingdom is the perfect place to raise her baby daughter. But when Emory, the sexy heir to the throne and her almost lover, comes home after a year-long hiatus, her perfect life is shaken to its core.

Emory’s spent his whole life putting Vicenza’s interests over his own. After taking a year off to live the kind of life he always wanted, he’s returned and he’s committed to the throne.

But when Willow and Emory meet again, the attraction between them ignites, as white-hot and hopeless as ever. Emory can’t betray his commitments, and Willow must protect her heart at all costs. One way or another, one of them will lose everything.

Love often doesn’t make a bit of sense, and the road to true love with a fairytale ending is far from the norm.  Love hurts, love takes work and at times, love requires sacrifices that you never thought you’d make.  This is something that Willow and Emory are learning firsthand.  A future king and an American unwed mother will find a difficult journey to a happy together ending – but when the love is real sometimes the unexpected becomes possible.

His Christmas Princess was an emotional, touching romance between unlikely people.  Their attraction, their passion is sizzling but their responsibilities in life are also very real.  I often ached for both Willow and Emory.  They’re both good people who fell in love, the rest was problematic because of their positions in life, outside influences and duties, and sometimes they got in their own way to happiness.  Following along on their journey was a fun experience, at times a frustrating one as well.  In the end, this couple found what so many do not, that above all else love matters in how you live your life, perform your duties and experience everything life has to offer.  I liked them and was cheering them on to find a way to be together – no matter what the future held.

If you enjoy a seemingly impossible on the surface love story, good friends and annoying enemies, and seeing two people who are just right for each other find their way to a happy ending worthy of a fairytale – then you’ll enjoy His Christmas Princess.  I’d recommend this one for any Romance reader.  You’ll discover people to care about, a touching love story that sizzles and likable secondary characters as well.
