When Mary Olson’s husband passed away, she purchased a large home and converted it into a boarding house as a means of supporting herself. With the help of her good friend and housekeeper, Patty, she’s able to meet her obligations, but there’s still something missing in her life, a hole created by the absence of love.
Christopher Hoffman has important business to conduct in the town of Creede, and he needs a place to stay. He was hoping for a clean room and hot meals, which he received – but what he wasn’t planning on was a landlady with haunted eyes and an indomitable spirit.
They each have loved, and they have each lost. Can they now find what they’re missing in each other?

Title: Honoring Her Heart
Series: Cowboys and Angels #46
Author: Amelia C. Adams
Genre: Western Historical Romance
Published: August 22, 2019
My Rating: 4.5 stars
Honoring Her Heart by Amelia C. Adams is the 46th title in the simply amazing Cowboys and Angels multi-author series. I have enjoyed every single visit to Creede, Colorado yet I believe Marigold’s and Christopher’s story is going to end up in my top five favorites of this series.
This time around we’ll find a story full of answers, of long term story threads being tied off, and definitely a surprise that I should have seen coming much sooner – but I’m glad I didn’t for that made it all that much better in the end. Love can come to us at any time, any age and that second chance to find lasting lifelong love is precious indeed if a couple is willing to take the risk.
We’ve met Mary and Patty before, Christopher is a new character but there is a connection there (if in the job only) to another series Ms. Adams has written stories in. We finally get answers to a nasty piece of work’s activities and catch up with a few couples, old book friends in this one as well. I had such fun with this one, and definitely happy misty eyes were happening on my side of the Kindle. No details, this one you need to read on your own for the best impact. I loved Honoring Her Heart so much and would gladly highly recommend it to fans of this series or readers who simply love a good story in the Western Historical Romance genre.
