Losing Game continues Cash and Tally’s beginning romantic relationship into deeply troubled waters. It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words — but only if those words are truth. Sometimes pictures lie, or don’t come close to telling the entire truth. Tally has to decide what to believe, especially when Cash won’t let her go easily. There are secrets to be revealed that will place a heavy burden on this couple and their future. The trouble with secrets is they usually, eventually are revealed at the worst possible moment. Their personal lives and Cash’s professional life is on the line. Now is when the hard part of love comes into play… stand by each other or walk away. Love’s not always easy, but it’s so worth the risks.
It would be far too easy to give away spoilers, so all I’m going to say is that Losing Game is an emotional look at the devastation of keeping secrets can bring about. Trust is such a large part of any relationship and this will test their trust so deeply. The moment you think they are on a smooth sailing path something else hits them. It’s definitely an emotional read, quick to grab your attention and drawn out as to the eventual resolution. While their eventual future will be revealed in Grand Slam, this story gives us a good understanding of their middle ground and what they had to face, together, in order to keep love alive. Expect twists and turns, sexy moments and a love to be tested.
I enjoyed my time in Tally and Cash’s world and would recommend this story to any Romance reader.
