Can they forget their pasts and commit to a future together?

After a dangerous mission, Navy SEAL Anthony Martinez lets adrenaline and loneliness cloud his judgment when he signs up for the military’s spouse matching program without his Commanding Officer’s approval. Of course, nothing has ever come easy for Tony. He’s matched to a woman he’s already hit on and struck out with. Then his CO threatens his dreams of attending Officer Candidate School leaving Tony with only one option—make the marriage work.

Inara Ramirez has always wanted love and a family, but her luck with romance is as bad as her serial divorcee mother’s luck. Determined to find the one, she signs up with the military’s science-based spouse matching program. She’s thrilled to be matched until she realizes her new husband is the cockiest, flirtiest, and hottest Navy SEAL she’s ever met.

Inara is determined to make the marriage work but Tony’s only planning on a year tops. Is it possible that science and fate have created the perfect match?

Matched‘ is the second title in the ‘Navy SEALs of Little Creek‘ series about an unusual matchmaking/marriage on the spot program and the couples who may (hopefully) end up with a lifetime love just for taking a chance.

We met Tony and Inara before in ‘Issued‘ so they have a bit of history (not exactly the great kind) when they are matched up as marriage partners for the program… they aren’t exactly strangers when they meet again, but not the best of friends either.

I liked them both, for different reasons.  On the surface, they don’t really seem to match up, but over time as we get to know the real Tony and Inara the connections between them become obvious, and perhaps even stronger.  Inara’s wit and sarcasm – Tony’s self-awareness and loneliness – those factors hit buttons for me.  I love it when an author can show me two sides to a person.  The one that the world sees at first glance, and then the person they really are at their core.  That’s how I felt about ‘Matched‘.

If you love digging deeper into a character if a flirty relationship is fun but a seriously falling in love one is even better then you’ll enjoy Tony and Inara’s journey to a lifetime in ‘Matched‘.
