Angus Murray, bouncer for a New Orleans Shifter bar, is sent to round up an elusive, Collar-less Shifter woman, Tamsin Calloway, who is causing trouble for Shifter Bureau, and possesses information they want. If Angus refuses, he risks losing his cub. He finds Tamsin but she’s slippery and not about to be rounded up quietly.
In fact, quiet is nothing Tamsin will ever be. She leads Angus on a wild chase, but he’s determined to bring her in to save his son.
Can Tamsin convince Angus she’s worth helping before she’s locked away by Shifter Bureau, Collared, or perhaps killed?

Title: Midnight Wolf
Series: Shifters Unbound #11
Author: Jennifer Ashley
Genre: Paranormal Romance – Shifter
Published: April 24, 2018
My Rating: 4.5 stars
After almost a decade of reading the over twenty titles in this series (I’m counting novellas here, too) at the conclusion of each story I always think “there’s no way she can top that one.”… and every single time Jennifer Ashley does just that.
Midnight Wolf brings us a new character in Tamsin (and what a character she is!), and an established favorite in Angus. And a few surprises as well. Once again the shifter bureau has made demands that leave no choice but to be carried out. They have Angus’ young son and he will do anything to get his cub back safe and sound. Yet this woman isn’t about to go quietly in the night and let herself be caught. No, Tamsin is smart, wily and actually quite perfect for this growly wolf… but he might have to be convinced. When it comes to a choice between Tamsin or his cub – well, there really is no choice in his mind.
I loved this couple both individually and together – but together they are a force to be reckoned with. Tamsin has no filter on her thoughts and speaks her mind without a care – often to the befuddlement of Angus and our enjoyment. There is danger here, old friends to catch up with, and new information to add to the lore of this shifter world. I completely enjoyed my time with the Shifters Unbound crew once again and would not hesitate to recommend this story and this amazing series to any Paranormal Romance or Shifter Romance reader. I was captured by this magic once more and yes, I’m thinking that Midnight Wolf cannot be topped — until Tiger Striped comes out, then I’ll rethink that belief once again. I love this series.
*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*
