On the surface, and perhaps in the eyes of the ton, Giles and Felicity should not work out as a couple. She’s the sister of a duke, he’s got the title of king but only in the impressive and much-wanted carriages that he creates. Felicity will never go back to poverty, and while her plan to help other children in the same circumstances she and her brother once found themselves hasn’t exactly been met with approval she isn’t giving up. The fact that Giles does very well with his business cannot be allowed to be a factor for Felicity. She may love him but she’s too afraid of going back to the penniless existence she once knew to trust that he will make her dreams a reality. It’s going to take a bit of faith, and a touch of dangerous uncertainty to change her mind before she risks losing the best man for her forever.
ONE NIGHT TO REMEMBER is a charming, sizzling romance that captured my attention from the start to the final page. Although I was definitely on Giles’ team, for the most part, it was also easy to understand why Felicity felt as she did. Add some drama, some danger, some steamy sizzling moments and you’ll discover a Regency Romance that will delight, entertain and leave you a very satisfied reader by the ending. Only one more title to go in this double authored series. I’ve enjoyed the Wicked Dukes Club series, and if this is your first time here then I would definitely recommend the entire series.
