Magic has always been a part of Becca’s life. She has a unique kind of magic with all animals and her career as a veterinarian is no surprise to anyone. When you truly can speak with the animals, who better to care for them when they need her the most?
Becca is one of triplet sisters whose parents were witches centuries ago – they tossed their daughters through a magic portal to the future in order to protect them from the evil that wanted them dead. Time means nothing for evil and eventually it will return for each sister, only when they eventually reunite can they hope to defeat it. But until then, evil is stalking Becca and the animals she loves.
Owen is back in Becca’s life. Ten years ago he left her behind as he left town to follow a military career. He has always seen himself as the boy from the wrong side of the tracks, even though Becca never saw him that way and loved him with all her young heart. Now Owen is back, Becca is in trouble and both will find their own magic is still alive and worth fighting for.
Heat of the Moment is such an intense, detailed, lovely magical story. The idea fascinates me, and as a lover of all things paranormal, it was an idea that I just accepted and ran with. If you enjoy paranormal romance, if your heart quickens at the mention of magic and if you love a bit of a mystery, suspense sprinkled in your paranormal romances – you are going to love this one. I would highly recommend this novel and it’s companions. Thankfully fie final story is coming soon and we can finally get the ultimate end of this story.
