Cover Description:

Love thy sexy jerk of a neighbor…

CEO Michael Anderson might be something of a “control freak.” Still, he’s not quite sure why his therapist thinks dogsitting will fix anything—especially since he and the canine share a kind of mutual loathing. And to make matters worse, a house sitter moves in next door disrupting his peace—and his dates—with the worst possible music at the worst possible time… every time.

Free-spirited artist Mia Argaropolis has settled into the perfect gig—house sitting in NYC’s Upper West Side while working as an art therapist. Too bad she’s stuck living next door to a bossy control freak with a penchant for calling building security when she blasts music to drown out the noises coming through his bedroom wall.

Post-apocalyptic dinner rolls that nearly take her kitchen with them, a douchebag ex, and a Shih Tzu with the personality of Godzilla attack Mia in one day, and her unlikely neighbor comes to the rescue. Like it was her fault. And now, somehow, they find themselves engaged? Both agree, this neighborly feud just got taken to a whole new level.

Read on for my thoughts on Neighbors With Benefits.  No true spoilers, promise.

Oh, what a joy to see stuffed-shirt Michael be paired with a girl who had to be his worst nightmare incarnate – Mia, the not truly scattered brained, but man is she a think for herself, free spirit, takes no prisoners kinda girl.  I loved these two together.

We don’t always show all parts of ourselves to the outside world.  So it was with both Mia and Michael – the oh so stern, poker faced businessman and the fly by the seat of her pants art therapist really have more in common than they think.  It was such fun watching these two get through their outer shells and find the fun, loving people that lived inside of them all this time.

And Clancy – the tiny Shih Tzu Godzilla wannabe.  There are so many times that little Clancy simply stole the show away from Michael and Mia.  He was the perfect addition to the chaos of these two people getting together and finding out that opposites do indeed attract and stick.

Neighbors with Benefits was such a fun addition to The Anderson Brothers series.  Loved the first book with Will and now I’m simply waiting for my next Anderson fix.

If you love slightly madcap romantic comedies, if you believe that opposites truly can attract and work then this is a love story for you.  Pick up Neighbors with Benefits and simply enjoy it.

*I received an e-ARC of Neighbors with Benefits from the publisher and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. That does not change what I think of this novel.*
