Now that his best friend, Josh, has happily settled down with his true love on a Montana ranch, small-town lawyer Ty Sullivan starts thinking that maybe single life isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. And when Lauren Cunningham’s no-good ex-husband comes after her for an unexpected trust fund, Ty steps in to protect her. But soon he can’t help but think of her as more than a client. Lauren’s in no mood to jump into another relationship, so how can Ty convince her that her mistake wasn’t getting married, but marrying the wrong guy?
How can you not just fall in love with a hot, sexy man who will always protect the women in his life – no matter what they face? I certainly cannot.
Read on to see my thoughts on Tyler and Lauren story. No true spoilers, promise.
How do I say this without being totally corny? Yummmmm.
Seducing Lauren was a treat from the opening pages. I happened to read the second book in this series first – thanks to a friend who passes her reads along to me. Thank you, Deb. 🙂 (after closing the last page of the book I immediately went to Amazon and downloaded the first and the third – it was that good)
Lauren’s ex-husband wants half of her family inheritance – even though she knew nothing about the trust fund. And that dirty, rotten, scumbag piece of crap will harass her, threaten her and take her to court until he gets what he deems as his. Lo (Lauren’s nickname) storms into her attorney’s office intent on stopping Jack (the scum ex) from touching the money her parents meant for her alone.
Tyler watches her entrance into the offices. Although he is not her attorney, he brings her into his office to calm her down. Ty leaves her baffled and angry that he won’t take on her case, insisting that it stay with her usual lawyer in the firm – because he has a conflict of interest… her. His very non-professional interest in her.
This is the beginning of Ty and Lo’s hot, steamy, totally loving relationship that will go through so much before they see their happily ever after.
Seducing Lauren has to be experienced to understand it’s underlying story. So I’m only going to tease about the story, and leave you hanging right here.
Lo has secrets that (at first) she’s not telling anyone about. Especially not her piece of crap ex nor her hot loving new man. Eventually Ty will learn every secret she has. But this story is not all about the hot, steamy, “they did what!” sex (although there is plenty of raise your pulse sex in this novel) – their story is also about trust. Giving it, accepting it and learning how to trust so completely that not one single secret can remain between two people who desperately, deeply love each other. But that trust (on both sides) builds through the novel to it’s heartbreaking, stunning conclusion.
We also get to revisit with Ty’s good friends Josh and Cara, his sister Jillian and Josh’s twin brother Zach – and Seth makes an appearance too. 🙂 Their inclusion in the story made it better by letting the reader know that this is a tight knit group of friends, family and lovers who will face anything that life tosses their way with a united front, together.
If you love hot alpha men, beautiful (inside and out) strong ladies who love with all their heart – You will enjoy the “Love Under the Big Sky” series. Oh, and the sex scenes will burn your fingers on the pages. *wink*
Seducing Lauren is available at Amazon in paperback, audiobook and at the Kindle store.
That sounds amazing! I’ve got her on my list. I’ve really been loving the covers on this series which always tempts me so much. I do love those alpha males and a great heroine on top of it is always nice to see 🙂 Glad to hear these are just as good as their covers!

Hi Anna,
I have to admit to being a “cover lover” – if it isn’t one of my go to authors, then the cover is the first thing that will tempt me to hand over my hard earned cash for the novel. If the back cover or “blurb” gives me the same emotional tingle, then the author and publisher have my money. 🙂
I really hope you get the chance to read this series soon. It is smokin’ hot, but believable. I’d snatch up any one of these alpha men in a heartbeat.
Thanks for the visit and the comment 🙂
