Story Blurb:

Your date with Bachelor #3 includes champagne and chocolate in the limo that collects you, a helicopter tour of Marietta and the surrounding mountains and valleys, and dinner at a five star restaurant in Great Falls. While oil baron Linc Brady wines and dines you, a maid service will completely clean your home.

Who could resist this tempting offer, but Meg Canon plans to do just that. She is only home to clean out her childhood bedroom for her brother’s new step-daughter and then she’s outta her childhood small town and back to her life in Chicago, but when she meets the sexy, renegade millionaire while she’s stuck in the snow, sparks fly and Meg is tempted to maybe stay a little longer.

Linc Brady is new in town and happy to help a kid in need, but this? Technically he doesn’t owe Meg a damned thing after she bids on him, after setting him up for the Marietta bachelor auction in the first place, but her high-class city polish is his fatal weakness and makes her impossible to forget. When she agrees to come home with him, he makes it clear he’s a confirmed bachelor. This is a one-night thing. One night that turns into nine months and maybe a lifetime…?

Read on for my thoughts on The Bachelor’s Baby.  No true spoilers, promise.

Meg isn’t home only to make room for her new niece, she’s also hiding from a stalker back in Chicago… she knows she needs to return, after all there really isn’t anything for her in Marietta now except memories.  She didn’t begrudge her adoptive brother’s happiness – but it did make it more difficult for her to have someplace to come home to.  Meg is a wreck really in more ways than just the stalker… but you’ll read about that for yourself.

Linc has finally put down roots.  Sure, he has money now, money enough to live wherever or however he pleased.  But Montana drew him and once the old ranch he bought is renovated, his new life will be up and running.  The last thing he expected when he pulled over on the snowy side of the road to offer help to a person in a beat up old truck in the ditch was to be instantly attracted to the beauty behind the wheel – or to find himself mere days later on the auction block… he didn’t expect to be a daddy either, but you can read how that happened for yourself.

The novella’s title really gives so  much away – 🙂 – but it’s how these two got to that state that is the truly funny, touching, sexy and honest love story here.

I want to move to Marietta, Montana.  The tight knit community, the way of life – and the burning hotness of their men…Mmm mmm mmm.  I now look for any of the Marietta based novellas from Tule Publishing.  While short, these stories pack a powerful emotional punch, and I have never, ever been disappointed at the outcome of a story.

I have to give The Bachelor’s Baby 4 stars.  I would recommend this one for anyone who just want to escape into a world of good people, interesting couples and love that can last a lifetime.  Go on now – visit them for yourself.

*I received an e-ARC of The Bachelor’s Baby from the publisher and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. That does not change what I think of this novel.*

Right now this novella is available at Amazon for the Kindle
