Synopsis:

When Angela first discovered her gift to gab with ghosts, she fought it tooth and nail. But the second she decided it wasn’t so bad, tragedy hit and the universe decided to teach her a lesson.

Now she’s unable to chat with the other side and is crying out for a re-do.

When her best friend Mel suspects her husband of cheating, she asks Angela to help her prove it. They concoct the perfect plan to get the goods on him, but to make it work they’ll need help from Angela’s mother, Fran.

There’s just one tiny little problem–Fran’s dead.

As the two best friends set out on a cheater-catching adventure, they hope Fran can use her celestial super powers to help, and prove that the bond between those who’ve crossed over with the ones they’ve left behind is never broken.

Read on for my thoughts on Unbreakable Bonds.  No true spoilers, promise.

Oh, it was such a delight to visit with Angela, Fran, Mel and all the gang once again in this second in the Angela Panther novels.

It’s never really easy getting used to seeing ghosts, even when one is your Mom… but it’s even more unsettling when you lose that… gift?  Right now Angela needs that gift back in order to help Mel find out if her husband really is cheating on her.

I loved that Fran didn’t take to the messed up communication very well either – you gotta read the messages she leaves that often scare the living.. well crap outta Angela.

This is such an amazing, caring and yes, at times crazy family that you cannot help but get caught up in their daily lives, the fun adventures and even the ghostly snooping around.  With a teenage daughter – you know there is going to be angst.  A feisty middle-age husband who still loves him some sex with humor.  A young ghost seeing son..and well dog too.  What is not to love about these people?

Angela will get some of her abilities back, answers will be found to Mel’s dilemma and new adventures to complicate everyone’s lives are on the horizon.

Oh, come on – you know I cannot give you all the details!  You need to go out, pick this one up, find some quiet time and just sit down and enjoy the ride.  Honestly, you do.  You will laugh, cry, rant, giggle and maybe even snort.  But it’s all in good fun with a fantastic story at the center of it all.  Go on, what are you waiting for.  Read this one.

Me?  I’m heading over to Amazon to pick up the third novel in this series… just cannot get enough.  Back later with that review.

*I received an e-ARC of Unbreakable Bonds from the publisher and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. That does not change what I think of this novel.*

~What you, the reader, always must remember is this simple truth. Any review is just one person’s opinion. You might feel the same or totally different. The only way to know for certain if any novel is right for you – is for you to read it. This was my opinion of this particular book.~
