Roxie’s on the run from a bad boyfriend who will not catch the hint that it is o-v-e-r. She’s in no mood for love at first sight, but when her eyes fall on Hank, it’s trouble from the get-go. Roxie tries to hold Hank at arm’s length but Hank wants to be a closer (as in, a lot closer). Roxie’s trouble catches up with her and Hank wants to help but Roxie knows in her heart that she’s no good for a white hat guy. The problem is no one agrees with her, especially her crazy hippie best friend Annette or her parents; the even crazier small-Indiana-town Herb and Trish. Toss into the mix the gang from Rock Chick and Rock Chick Rescue and Roxie finds herself totally outnumbered.
Climb in for another Rock Chick wild ride through Rock Chick Redemption. As the odds stack up against Roxie, she has no choice but to hold on and just ride it out through the kidnappings, car chases, society parties, a riot at the strip club, Hank getting “Mom Bombed” and one crazy night at the Haunted House.
During all this Hank works at convincing her she really wants to stay and he, along with the Hot Bunch, go all out to make her safe. Hank also needs to work on showing Roxie that her past decisions don’t mean her future can’t include something as downright delicious as… normal.

Published: Original – November 2010
My Rating: 4.5 stars
Rock Chick Redemption brings us a little deeper into the world of Rock Chicks and Hot Bunches, along with a ton of good friends, family, and danger. Roxie had a plan to finally escape an obsessive, possessive boyfriend who just will not accept that they are over. His idea of love involves stalking, smacking her around, and threats he would not hesitate to carry out. She has this idea that if she can just get to Denver and her Uncle Tex that she can trick Billy into finally leaving her alone. Roxie is wrong – so wrong. But her escape to Denver will bring her the best things that she’s experienced in life so far — good friends, acceptance for who she is, and the one man who will stand between her and any danger that’s after her, Hank. It’s just going to take a while to get it through her stubborn head that she really is in extreme danger, and Hank really does want her with him just as she is.
I had a blast with Roxie, Hank and the gang once again. There are swoon-worthy romantic moves, a very real and closing in danger, and people who are so real that you’ll think you recognize your neighbor, your best friend or even yourself within the story. If you haven’t experienced the Rock Chick world yet, then I’d suggest starting at the beginning since the gang grows as new couples find their happiness and the adventures, dangers that they went through are referred to. Besides – they all are amazing, entertaining, sexy, and plain fun stories to get caught up in.
You don’t need me to tell you this story – but you do need to check out Rock Chick Redemption or the entire series because quite simply you’ll become addicted and not want to leave this world.
I own a Kindle edition of Rock Chick Redemption.
