The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts,Parajunkee of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to show off more new blogs!

The two Feature blogs this week are;  The Macabre Masquerade and Rabbit Ears Book Blog

This weeks Question:

Do you use the # FF on twitter on Fridays? If you do, are you afraid you’ll forget someone and they’ll be sad?

My Answer:

I am not on Twitter – yet.  I know, I know.  I have been working on this blog to get it into shape.  I have a list of things I still have to do, but Twitter has not been on the top of that list.  Well, it is almost the weekend, so I guess it’s time to get that to-do list finished up!

Now it’s time to get following – hope you find awesome new blogs today.  :)

Because this blog cannot use GFC – I prefer Bloglovin’ please.

This week’s feature blog is:  My Bookish Itinerary

Today’s Question up for discussion is:

Do you read more than 1 book at a time, and if so, how, like a certain amount of pages per book before moving on to the next one in the queue? – via Words I Write Crazy

My Answer:  I usually have 3 books going.  One on my Kindle, which is usually e-ARCs.  One on my Kindle App for the PC because I have tons of Kindle free books on that app that thankfully did not load over on my new Kindle…gotta get that TBR of Kindle books cleared up.  And I always have one book, real physical book to hold and read.  They are never the same genre though.  I love so many different styles of novels.  So I will have a Contemporary on one, a Historical on another and a Paranormal/Fantasy/YA on the other.  How much do I read of each?  It totally depends on my mood (or a review deadline).  I might start out in old time London, spinning through a young woman’s First Season and in the evening be deep in the darkest night with a vampire hunter hot on my trail.  Mood reading is my downfall.

This week’s feature blog is:  A Writer’s Dark Corner

Today’s Question up for discussion is:

Hard print (real thing) or Kindle/Nook, which is your favorite?

I love the feel of a physical book.  The weight of it, the smell, and the anticipation of opening it up to the first page.  I will always buy some favorite author’s novels in “real” books to keep on my bookcase(s) and know that “old friends” live there to visit at any time. Yet. I love my Kindle for the convenience of having a new book in moments (no dragging myself out on release day to the store through storm, snow and such) is such a pull to use my Kindle more.  And the E-reader is so easy to take with me.  I can read in line, during lunch, when stuck in traffic.  I enjoy the portability of a really huge novel on a lightweight Kindle.  So, I can’t give a real answer to this one because I love them both.

Now it time to get following – hope you find awesome new blogs today.  🙂

This week’s Featured Blog is Askerisk Pearl

Question of the Week: Do you post your reviews anywhere besides your blog? Where else do you post reviews? – Suggested byA Great Read

For me:  I originally only posted on my blog (which I regret doing only that for so long) – now I’m beginning to post recommendations and reviews on Goodreads, NetGalley as well as here at home.  I do have a Keeper Bookshelf at blogspot, but hesitate to use it due to confusion – still debating on that one. I plan to start putting up short reviews on books I’ve read on Amazon, that is my major project to begin next week. Right now my main concern is not to just copy and paste to drop the same review in all places, but to change each just a bit to be unique.  Maybe that’s not really necessary, but I feel that each deserves to be a bit different due to the amount of space available. (actually this week’s question is awesome because I had put up a post of my own recently asking this same question)

Since I cannot have GFC on this blog I’d love a follow on bloglovin’  🙂  Thanks
