We are far enough into this series now that I am so involved, tied up with and engaged with all of these characters that it’s going to be very difficult to not write ten paragraphs in this review. (along with long sentences it seems) But I just can’t, there are people out there who haven’t discovered this amazing set of stories yet. So I’ll have to be brief in order not to spill too much.
Victoria and Adam are simply a hot grill waiting for the food. They sizzle with tension, animosity, sexual tensions and just plain stubbornness. Victoria isn’t about to trust just anyone after what she’s been through. And Adam is far from what she should trust on any level. Adam is… well, let’s call him a stone cold killer of evil things that need to be dead. Methodical, determined and quite sure of his place on the food chain… the top. He’s out to rescue the one woman who will chain him in ways she has no clue about. If he lets her, like he has a choice or a chance of not being with Victoria. She may be feisty, brave, sexy and bullheaded, she’s also his to protect. Adam isn’t about to let anyone touch his woman, even if he has to convince her to take a chance on them.
To be quite frank, Realm Enforcers isn’t a series that you can hop around in or pick up one near the end. This is a tapestry of a series with finely woven threads running through every single story that tie them all together. This one needs to be read in order for events happen right after each other or even, it seems, along side of each other. You’ll get the most enjoyment by starting at the beginning – and that’s no hardship for this is a tense, action packed, sexy, intriguing series. That’s my opinion, and I believe you’ll find it to be god advice.
I absolutely loved Wicked Kiss. Strings are being tied up, events are making more sense… but there’s still more to come. And that is one book, Wicked Bite, that I’m definitely looking forward to. Victoria and Adam make an incredible couple. Friends from the previous books and even from the Dark Protectors series once again make their presence known. It is always a treat for me to see old friends once more. This is a story that I would highly recommend for any Paranormal Romance reader.
