A wolf on a mission cannot be deterred…
The hot, powerful Wolff brothers have moved to the outskirts of Silver Town and opened a ski lodge. They’ve always wanted to live in a wolf-controlled area, and now they have their chance. They’re settling in for a quiet winter when their lives suddenly become way more exciting than they’d ever planned.

Private Investigator and Gray wolf shifter Nicole Grayson is hot on the trail of dangerous criminal hiding out at the ski lodge when her partner takes ill and must leave her to pursue the mission alone. Blake Wolff steps in–he can’t resist the allure of this brilliant and focused she-wolf whose presence awakens a long-dormant yearning in his heart.

As the pursuit of their quarry heats up, Blake has a mission of his own…to convince Nicole that there’s more to life than work…and that she’s his perfect mate.

*There seems to be confusion on the main female’s name.  In the e-ARC I received from NetGalley, she was Nicole so that’s what I’ve used in this review.*

You Had Me At Wolf begins the spin-off series, Wolff Brothers which is connected to the Silver Town Wolf series.  The Wolff brothers, along with their two sisters own and operate the ski lodge outside of Silver Town.  Wolf shifters themselves, this family is slowly coming to see the area as their new home and with a pack that is accepting and a bit quirky as well they’re feeling comfortable here.  Well, maybe Blake is having a day between Rosco’s antics and the danged snowblower acting up – when a sexy she-wolf plants one on him… yeah, it’s been a day, and it’s only going to get more interesting and complicated as time goes on.

Nicole is hot on the trail of an insurance fraud case, and a man she’s had on her radar since her military days.  Although she owns her own company, for this case she was paired with another investigator from another company to act as a couple as they traced down the slippery criminal behind the fraud.  Only, that isn’t working as intended as her partner has altitude sickness so she’s taken on another partner – one sexy wolf shifter who might be far more than she expected at their first meeting.  Nicole, Blake, and one adorable Saint Bernard pup named Rosco are on the case and it’s about to get intense in so many ways.

I had a good time back in this world, and it’s always a treat to return to this “universe” where anything is possible.  Blake and Nicole had sparks flying from the very start, they fit well together, even if Nicole had some hesitation.  The suspense is well played with a vile villain to deal with.  We get glimpses of secondary characters that I’m hoping will soon have their own stories told, along with a few familiar faces.  You Had Me At Wolf is fast-paced, intense at times, steamy at others, with laughter well mixed in.  I  had fun, and if you love a good Paranormal Romance or Shifter Romance then you’ll enjoy this start to the series.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story.  It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*
