Read on for my thoughts on Summer Beach Bride Seaside Duet. No true spoilers, promise.
Summer Beach Bride Seaside Duet is an entertaining, fun love story. As mentioned in the blurb, you don’t “have” to have read the previous stories to be able to step into the current one. Like all series, yes you will have a bigger overall picture and know the characters better – but it’s not necessary as in this novel you will easily understand who all of the characters through the dialog and bits of background scattered about.
This is mainly Ben and Natalie’s story. Natalie is beginning her trial period of Event Coordinator with Sara’s beach wedding at the top of her list. What she didn’t expect was to rescue a handsome American from the jellyfish offshore. While it is a unique way to meet an American rock star, Natalie’s beginning interest in Ben stops cold when she realizes who he is… or rather, what he is. Ben doesn’t understand what turned the attractive, interesting woman from interested to shutting him down, but that’s not going to slow him down. He’s interested and he will get to the bottom of the problem she has with him. Natalie has her reasons for turning away from Ben, he might not understand them but she is adamant about staying far away from the rock star.
We also get to peek in on the wedding preparations for Sara and Craig. It is no fun to have the paparazzi following her every step, looking for the most horrible photo to plaster their lying headlines with – but for Craig and for the charity donation that gives these animals permission to track her, Sara will put up with it. For now. But there are headlines, nerves and arguments ahead before this couple say their I dos.
Summer Beach Bride Seaside Duet is a lighthearted, charming visit with fun characters who are as real as your neighbor. Get caught up in the magic of this series, and enjoy Natalie and Ben’s romance. Love is rarely smooth sailing all the way, but as long as the couple makes it back to port safe and in each other’s arms love is worth the risk. Pick up a sweet, fun and engaging romance. You deserve the mini-vacation.
*I received an e-ARC of Summer Beach Bride Seaside Duet from the publisher and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. That does not change what I think of this novel.*
