Read on for my thoughts on The Last Chance Christmas Ball.  No true spoilers, promise.

Come away for some Christmas romance, lost loves and take a last chance on finding a love of a lifetime in this delightful anthology from well known Regency and Historical Romance authors.

Often called The Spinster Ball, for the number of ladies who would be considered to be, well, on the shelf now in attendance, this year’s Christmas Ball looks to be quite lively and entertaining.

The Last Chance Christmas Ball is made up of eight novellas from “go-to” authors in the Historical or Regency Romance genre.  Each story connects in some way with the Christmas Ball.  Our couples don’t necessarily need to be at the ball yet to be considered under the influence of the magic of the Christmas Ball.  While it seems our couples do know each other previous to finding each other at the ball, each one will finally discover their happy ever after ending as these stories wind throughout the celebration.

I love this type of collection of short stories on any occasion but when you toss in the charm and magic of Christmas it goes to another level of enjoyment for me.  I enjoyed these stories very much.  Yes, there were some that I loved and others that I liked and one that was alright.  No, I’m not going to spoil your fun with my taking apart each story because you may enjoy them in a totally different combination.

It’s Christmas in an Historical Romance setting.  What’s not to enjoy about that?

I would recommend The Last Chance Christmas Ball for anyone who loves Christmas stories and a Regency or Historical setting… and loves to see true love find its way into the right hearts eventually.

*I received an e-ARC of The Last Chance Christmas Ball from the publisher and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. That does not change what I think of this novel.*
