The Texan’s Baby Bombshell‘ brings the multi-author series, ‘The Fortunes of Texas: Rambling Rose‘ to a conclusion – and what a wrap-up Laurel and Adam’s story truly is.  From the very beginning of this series, Baby Linus has played a solid role in the background of some stories, more in the main plot in others, but he has always been the huge mystery of this series… and he’s always been an adorable little tyke in each scene we’ve seen him in.  Now we’ll discover in a heartbreaking way for some exactly who his true parents are and how he ended up alone in Rambling Rose.

I don’t want to give anything away (more than the Cover Description does) of Laurel, Adam, and Linus’ story.  But I’ll tell you that I cried real tears, I certainly chuckled, cringed, got a bit frustrated, and finally felt the story come together, make perfect sense, and watch a family be reunited as love grows stronger than ever between two people who were always right for each other.

Sometimes the final story in a series falls a bit flat, like too much has been given away to have anything left to discover — not so with ‘The Texan’s Baby Bombshell‘, we may have suspected some things, but learning of the pain, confusion, and the love that never stopped on either side made this final story perfect, for me.  I’ve enjoyed myself with these characters, laughed, cried, and got happy endings all around.  If you love a really good reunion story that will break your heart and quickly heal it back up again then this story, and this series, is a perfect fit for you.

I own a Kindle edition of this title.
