The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted at Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s a place where we can share news, showoff that book haul or just get caught up on what’s happening on our blogs and/or our lives… we do have a life away from the keyboard, right? Just checking, sometimes I wonder about myself. 🙂
If you’d like to join in or just figure what this is all about click on either the “Sunday Post” graphic or the link above.
I have wanted to join in this meme for a very long time – but… I just didn’t think there was enough going on around here to take part. We’re closing in on the end of another year, and I, frankly, have had enough negative crap happening around me… so, I’m just gonna go for it and see where I land.
It’s been kind of quiet here at Keeper Bookshelf, and on my other blogs as well. I took some time off to decompress, relax, and get some back-end things done on my blogs that I’ve needed to get to for some time. I’ll be back to daily posting come January 1, 2019 – but for now, I simply needed a break. So I took one, I might be crazy, or I might have committed book blogging armageddon but, oh well. This time off was for me, and that’s okay.
I may have been quieter, but there were still scheduled posts that went out this week. I cannot tell you how many times scheduled posts have saved me over the years… I love that option.
On Keeper Bookshelf:
Review of – Not the Duke’s Darling by Elizabeth Hoyt
Review of – What a Widow Wants by Jenna Jaxon
Review of – Home to Wind River by Lindsay McKenna
Review of – Blackberry Cove by Roxanne Snopek
Review of – Once Upon A Romance by Alex Bailey
and… I kicked off the start of a new Feature called “Revisiting A Series” with a look back at Mystery Man by Kristen Ashley from her Dream Man series
*cough* and I might have joined a few Challenges, still working on those posts for next week… I love Challenges, I just have to remember to report what I’ve read on the Linky thingy. *sigh* Bad Blogger *hangs head*
Elsewhere, this week on my Paranormal/Shifter blog Shifter Haven:
Review of – Grim Christmas by T. S. Joyce
Review of – Midnight Wish by Keira Blackwood & Eva Knight
Review of – Christmas Hellhound by Zoe Chant
Over on Lovin’ A Cowboy Romance (Modern Western Romance) it was a slow week with only:
Review of – Not Christmas Without You by Jane Porter
And almost as slow on Historically Romantic (Western Historical Romance) with:
Review of – Home for the Holiday by Jo Noelle
Review of – A Passing Glimpse by Amelia C. Adams
The other genre blogs were quiet this week, enjoying the break for a bit. In spite of that list above looking like all I do is read and post… I have that controlled madness only thanks to using scheduled posts – I could not keep up this pace otherwise.
And speaking of pace, it will soon be the final week of 2018 and time to brainstorm how I’m going to deal with 2019. I know there are some changes coming, it just needs fine tuned.
I wish you the best, brightest and happiest of Christmas cheer to you and yours. Merry Christmas! And should you not celebrate this holiday… I wish you joy and happiness in all things.
